A turizástól a fenntartható divatig // How to be sustainably stylish

Igen, a turizással is lehetsz környezettudatos! 

Végre! Többször említettem már és nagyon régóta szerettem volna írni a second-hand boltok és turkálók iránti rajongásomról, ami nemcsak gondolatban él, hisz az elmúlt kb. 6 évben aktívan gyakoroltam is ezt a "mániám". A családtagjaim és a legközelebbi barátaim gyakran hívnak a "turik királynőjének", nem hiába! Anno, teljesen random és véletlenül kezdtük el felfedezni a barátnőimmel a helyi turkálók és vintage boltok varázsát, ami azonnal megfogott és tart azóta is! Amióta blogolok, mindig is tervem volt erről írni, de valahogy eddig nem jött az ihlet. Soha jobbkor nem térhetett volna vissza, hisz manapság már hálistennek egyre nagyobb hangsúlyt kap a fenntarthatóság és a környezettudatos életmód kérdése, ami engem is erősen foglalkoztat, és jobban bele akarom ásni magam a témába, a divat szemszögéből is. 

Mi lehet annál jobb, ha a divatban is megtalálhatjuk azt a módot, amikor nem csak felhalmozzuk a tömeggyártott, fast-fashion ruhadarabokat, hanem az újrahasznosításra koncentrálunk! A jövőben én is szeretnék erre még több figyelmet fordítani, mivel a divat is egy olyan szelete a világunknak, amiben évente rengeteg pénz és energia megy el arra, hogy minél gyorsabban, minél több ruhát, cipőt és táskát tegyenek ki a kirakatba, ezzel viszont mi, vásárlók, hajlamosak vagyunk arra, hogy nem adunk a minőségre, hanem csak veszünk és veszünk és veszünk... A turkálók és second-hand boltok viszont megadják a lehetőséget arra, hogy alapdaraboktól kezdve igazi vintage kincsekre bukkanjunk, jóval olcsóbban! Nem mondom, a turizással is túlzásba lehet esni, én viszont mostanság már csak akkor indulok neki egy-egy turi-túrának, ha szükségem van valamilyen konkrét ruhadarabra, ami a gardróbomnak is nagy felüdülés!

Pozitívumként mondható, hogy néhány fast-fashion divatmárka is odafigyel a környezettudatosságra, mint például a H&M évente megújuló Conscious kollekciója, vagy pedig a ruhagyűjtési akciójuk, amelyben már jómagam is többször részt vettem. Szerencsére, manapság már a slow-fashion (lassú divat, etikus divat) mozgalom is ott van a köztudatban, amellyel odafigyelhetünk a minőségi, egyedi ruhavásárlásra, mégha kissé drágábban is. Nyilván nem mindenki engedheti meg magának, hogy eredeti áron vegye meg ezeket a ruhadarabokat vagy kiegészítőket, ííííígy visszatérhetünk a turkálókhoz, ahol számos etikus divatmárka darabjait találhatjuk meg ezekben a boltokban, amellett, hogy sok más fast-fashion márka használt ruhadarabjaira bukkanhatunk, és ezáltal hasznosíthatjuk újra ezeket! 

Oldalakat tudnék még erről írni, viszont ezt a posztot már nem akarom tovább húzni, de még nincs vége a történetnek! Jövő héten még egy utolsó kitérőt teszünk a naaagy karácsony előtti hajrából, és megosztom veletek a kedvenc turkálóim, és néhány kedvencem abból a nagy használt-ruha halmazból, amiket  az elmúlt évek során szedtem össze! Addigis... turizzatok és legyetek környezettudatosak!

Yes, you can be fashionable and sustainable at the same time!

It's time! Finally, the day has come, when I can share my love for the second hand shops that has been going on for years and years now. Actually, it's around 6 years, wow! Now, I've come a long journey, and a lot of different second hand shops, too, but in the mean time I never realised that I was being concious with my shopping with these buys up until nowadays. Summer was the time, when all of this "being sustainable" got me really, and I started thinking about it way more, and now it's one of my topics to chat about. Since fashion is one of my biggest passion and love, it's only right from me to write about it, but from a different perspective. And when you put together second hand and vintage shops with sustainability... what comes out?! That yes, you can be very stylish and trendy with second hand purchases, while being supportive and concious to the world we live in, YAY!

Firstly, let's talk about the fast-fashion part. Sadly, year by year goes by with millions worth of money and energy, just to put the seasonal, trend-led clothes and shoes out there, and that's when we, consumers get in the picture, because we just often tend to not be very concious about our purchases, and we end up at the massive sales, and just shop and shop more, and more... This has to change! I have become really strict with myself after considering these facts, so now I can proudly say, that if I even buy anything, I'd rather go to a second hand shop. But, I must say, I only go there, if I need anything specific, and this is one thing, that definitely changed my shopping habits and cleaned out my wardrobe, too! Let me tell you, going into your fave vintage shop and ending up buying a cool pair of boots that must be like 5 or 15 years old, is just awesome, because think about it... You purchased something that not even looks great, but was made years and years ago, worn a lot and now there are in your hands, and you can reuse it, instead of you just going into any fast-fashion shop that you'd think of, and buying a similar pair first hand without any quality. 

One the positive note, even the fast-fashion brands try to be more sustainable, a lot of brands use recycled paper or plastic bags as their packaging, or, like H&M does, their Concious collection has become very very popular in the past couple of years. And if you are that lucky like me, you can find the perfect black coat for AW from the H&M Concious line, YAY! If you want to be extra ethical with your style, try to search for specific brands like Everlane or Reformation, but internet is your friend in need! Bare in mind, these brands often have a little bit expensive price range, but remember, all is for a good cause! But I totally understand and agree, too, if you are not someone with an unlimited amount of money on their accounts, that is why second hand and vintage shops are the answer for you! 

Honestly, if I could, I would talk about this topic for hours and hours... But I don't want to be too much, sooo I decided to cut things in half, and come back next week with another second hand related post, are you in? I will make a proper list about a couple of vintage shops, that I love, also giving you a run-down of my all time favorite second hand purchases!
