Here we go, finally and surprisingly, too, it's December, which means th content of my blog is turning all things christmassy, and I'm not even mad! For starters, let's gather a handful of tips and options for going through this month easily and in one piece, haha! I've written down some of my best advice to tackle in-between christmas shoppings and all the baking chaos that is about to begin in the upcoming weeks! I hope you'll find these necessary and helpful, because let me tell you, I truely believe that helping each other should never stop, and who doesn't love tips & tricks on how to make life easier in "the mooost wonderfuuul tiiiiiime of the yeaaaaaaar!" Let's get prepared (for every emergency)! If you know me, you would probably just be like yeah... but I do love planning and organizing my life, and for me, the key to not lose my mind in between exams, hand-ins and my shopping lists, I do write down a big old list of things to do in like November. Well, basically there are a lot of smaller lists, for example... what to buy as presents, what I want to bake, what ingredients will I need, how much wrapping paper will I need (which I'll try to keep really small and not be so wasteful), etc. Honestly, this makes all the difference, and this way you'll not get stuck through this month off chaos. Also, just don't stress! Let things go by your time, energy, because isn't this holiday is all about peace, relaxing and getting together...?! Having a day off pre-Christmas is just fine...In the midst of the baking and shopping, we all need to have a day off, or if you are very lucky, a weekend away could be an option. Sadly for me, I'll not be able to put my laptop and phone off of my studies and working, but even if I'll only have a night off, my fave christmas movies and a hot chocolate can solve everything, right?! My advice is to try and balance out everything, you know, with the lists of preparations... Visit your local Christmas markets, go for a chilly walks, and even ice-skating with your loved ones can be fun! How about a little Christmas get-together?!I know, Christmas is all about being together and eating, drinking, bla-bla-bla... But, doing a pre-party with your colleagues/best friends would be so cool to take off your mind of all the craziness that's going around! How about a karaoke-night where after a couple glasses of mulled vine you could all sing Last Christmas together, that would something to talk about in the next year, haha! In terms of gifting, something that I want to try out in the future with my friends or even my big family, is to do Secret Santa! How great could that be to surprise your Mother or your BF, and in the same time you'd be surprised with a little something, too!
